In Loving Memory of Vada Baker

For the past 25 years, our agency has been truly blessed to call Vada Baker an invaluable member of our team.  In January of this year (2020) Vada passed away unexpectedly due to complications from cancer.  She will not only be missed by her family, friends, and coworkers, but by the countless clients and industry partners that worked with her.  Her work ethic and knowledge in Commercial & Judicial Surety were second to none in Hampton Roads.  This was evident through her relationships with the surety companies and attorney's offices, which relied on her expertise and guidance. 

Vada, there was no one like you and you are truly missed at Ware Insurance.  Thank you for your years of dedication and we wish you and your family peace.

Commercial & Judicial Bond Specialist

Relocating to Virginia Beach from Connecticut, Vada joined the Ware Insurance team in 1998 as a Commercial Lines Account Manager. Vada is now our resident Commercial Surety Bond Specialist, with expertise in Estates and Wills, License & Permit, Special Commissioner, and various types of Miscellaneous surety bonds. Vada also has over 30 years of experience in property & casualty insurance for personal and commercial lines on top of her years focusing exclusively on contract and commercial surety. In her spare time, Vada loves walking to the beach from her coastal home where she enjoys the sunshine especially after living in Connecticut.
